FAQs
Does this spoon come with a handle?
No, the Nash Particle Slotted Spoon is sold as the head unit only.
Will this work with liquid bait?
The spoon is designed to drain liquids, so it is not suitable for feeding liquids; it is intended for solid particles that have been soaked in liquids.
Is the thread universal?
Yes, it features a standard screw thread compatible with most modern carp fishing baiting poles and landing net handles.
How do I prevent the bait from sticking?
Ensure your particles are well-hydrated but not excessively sticky or syrupy; the slots will do the rest of the work to drain excess fluids.
Can I use this for boiling water applications?
No, this tool is designed for baiting purposes only and should not be exposed to extreme heat or boiling liquids.
Troubleshooting
Spoon head feels loose on the handle
Check the screw thread for debris and ensure it is tightened firmly; if it remains loose, consider using a thread-locking washer.
Slots are clogged with fine particles
Use a stiff-bristled brush under warm running water to clear the slots, ensuring the drainage system functions effectively.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To use the Nash Particle Slotted Spoon, you must attach it to a compatible baiting pole or handle via the standardized screw thread at the base. Ensure the thread is tightened securely before every session to prevent the head from detaching during a powerful cast. To maintain the spoon, rinse it with fresh water after use to remove food debris from the slots and prevent bacterial buildup. Store in a dry, ventilated bait bag when not in use to maintain the integrity of the plastic molding.
