This heavy duty pergola post support is made from S235 steel with a hot-galvanized zinc coating. The coating is applied by immersing the object in melted zinc heated to approximately 450°C, resulting in a coating thickness of 80-90 um (minimum 60 um). This protective layer is ideal for products exposed to prolonged moisture, especially those used in gardens. The galvanized surface can be painted with decorative paints suitable for such finishes.
