Holding many advantages over traditional nylon webbing used in climbing, the Dynatec has a much higher strength-to-weight ratio and is less susceptible to UV damage. It has a greater resistance to abrasion and is ideal for creating lightweight quickdraws. The Dynatec also absorbs much less water than nylon, which is very important for winter climbing. The slim profile allows use for narrow threads and to sit better on marginal spike placements.
