Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Potting and Packaging: The plant arrives in a 9cm pot, protected by a recyclable plastic blister pack within a cardboard box to ensure safe delivery. It is kept moist during transit.
Planting: Upon arrival, the plant is typically ready to be planted. It will take some time to settle and grow to resemble product images. For best results, plant in a location that receives full sun. Ensure the soil is moderately fertile, moist, and well-drained. To prevent this mint from spreading aggressively through a herb garden, consider planting it in a sunken container with adequate drainage holes.
Care: Plants with delicate stems may be secured with canes for protection during transit. Water the plant as needed, especially during dry periods. To maintain vigor and prevent overcrowding, lift and divide the plant annually in spring. Replant the younger, more vigorous sections into fresh compost. This vigorous mint is fully hardy, meaning it can overwinter outdoors in most UK climates without special protection.
