Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Gather Tools: You will need a drill, a suitable drill bit for your wall type (e.g., masonry, drywall), a screwdriver, and a spirit level.
- Mark Placement: Hold the shelf brackets against the wall in your desired corner location. Use a pencil to mark the screw holes.
- Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked locations. If mounting into drywall, use appropriate wall anchors (usually included or recommended based on wall type).
- Attach Brackets: Secure the shelf brackets to the wall using the provided screws and anchors.
- Mount Shelf: Place the glass shelf onto the brackets, ensuring it sits securely.
Compatibility:
These shelves are designed to be mounted on most standard wall types, including plasterboard, brick, and tile. Ensure you use the correct fixings for your specific wall material to guarantee a secure installation. The brackets are compatible with the glass shelves provided.
Care:
- Clean the glass surface regularly with a soft, damp cloth. A mild glass cleaner can be used for tougher spots.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can scratch the glass.
- Wipe the brackets with a dry or slightly damp cloth to maintain their finish. For colored brackets, use appropriate cleaning agents for that specific finish (e.g., chrome cleaner for chrome brackets).
- Periodically check that the shelf is still securely fastened to the wall.
