While the adhesive can be applied in cooler temperatures, it is best applied when ambient temperatures are moderate (ideally above 10°C). In very cold conditions, the adhesive may be thicker and harder to spread. Ensure the surface is dry, as frost or moisture will prevent adhesion.

The curing time can vary depending on temperature and humidity. It will typically become touch-dry within a few hours, but full adhesion and waterproofing strength develop over a longer period, often 24-48 hours for optimal results.

This adhesive is primarily designed for horizontal surfaces like flat roofs, sheds, and garages. While it will bond, its suitability for vertical applications may depend on the specific requirements and any potential for slippage before full cure.

When stored correctly in a sealed tin in a cool, dry place, the adhesive generally has a shelf life of at least 12 months.

For standard concrete surfaces, a primer is usually not necessary if the concrete is clean, dry, and sound. The adhesive is formulated to bond directly to concrete.
