Troubleshooting
Water spots or mineral deposits on the etching
Soak the glass in a mixture of white vinegar and water for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water and buff dry with a soft cloth.
Glass feels slippery when holding
Ensure the glass is completely dry on the outside, as condensation can naturally occur on crystalline; use a coaster to prevent buildup.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Dartington Crystal glassware, follow these guidelines:
- Initial Cleaning: Wash the glass thoroughly with mild, soapy warm water before its first use to remove any packaging residue.
- Hand Washing Recommended: To protect the integrity of the laser-etched racing scene, hand washing is strictly recommended over machine dishwashing.
- Drying: Use a lint-free soft microfiber cloth to dry the glass immediately after washing to prevent water spots from forming within the etchings.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Because of the 160 mm height, ensure your cabinet shelves have sufficient clearance to avoid tipping or chipping the rim.
- Avoid Abrasives: Never use abrasive scouring pads or harsh chemicals on the glass surface, as these will scratch the crystalline and damage the intricate artwork.
