Product Information
Full details
The Doidy Cup is designed for parents and caregivers seeking a natural transition from bottles or breast to open-rim cups for infants. By encouraging a unique slanted drinking angle, it helps babies master the mechanics of swallowing and jaw coordination essential for oral development. While the open-rim design promotes independent drinking skills, caregivers should expect some spills during the initial learning phase as the child adjusts to the unique cup architecture.

Troubleshooting
Child struggles with spills
Begin with small amounts of liquid to limit messes and help the child focus on the motion of tilting the cup.
Cup feels slippery
Ensure the child is seated at the correct height and that the handles are positioned comfortably for their grip.
Liquid leaking during practice
Practice with thicker liquids like yogurt or smoothies initially to help the child control the flow rate.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
The Doidy Cup requires no assembly as it is a single-piece unit. Before the first use, ensure the cup is washed thoroughly with warm, soapy water. While the material is durable, always inspect the rim for any signs of damage or wear before each use. To clean, use a gentle detergent and rinse thoroughly; it is generally recommended to air dry after washing. The cup is compatible with standard kitchen hygiene practices but should be kept away from abrasive scouring pads that might scratch the surface.
