Troubleshooting
Straps not holding securely
Ensure the hook & loop surfaces are clean and free of mud, dirt, or debris. Press firmly to ensure a strong bond. Check that the strap is not overly stretched or worn.
Difficulty threading straps
Confirm you are using the intended attachment points on your luggage. If the strap is stiff, try flexing it gently. Ensure no obstructions are in the way.
Material feels stiff after washing
Air dry the straps completely. Avoid using a machine dryer, as high heat can affect the material and the hook & loop. Gentle hand washing is recommended.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The straps are designed for straightforward use. Thread the strap through the designated loops or anchor points on your Altura Vortex luggage or frame. Secure the item by wrapping the strap around it and fastening the hook & loop closure firmly. Adjust tension as needed.
Compatibility: These grip straps are specifically designed for the Altura Vortex Luggage Collection. While they may be adaptable for other uses, their primary intended function is with this range.
Care: To maintain the integrity of the straps, clean them regularly. Brush off any dirt or debris from the hook & loop surfaces. If necessary, use a damp cloth to wipe down the polyester material. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can degrade the material and the hook & loop effectiveness.
