Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic to ensure safety-critical components are torqued to factory specifications. Ensure the wheel hub is clean and free of debris before mounting the disc. When installing, always use a thread-locking compound on the bolt threads and follow a star-pattern tightening sequence. For maintenance, clean the disc surface regularly with a dedicated brake cleaner to remove road grime and brake dust. Avoid contact with oil, grease, or silicone-based lubricants, as these can permanently contaminate the friction surface. Always verify the disc thickness periodically; if the rotor wears below the manufacturer's recommended minimum, it must be replaced immediately.
