Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Clean Surfaces: Ensure the area where the tape will be applied is thoroughly cleaned, dry, and free from dust, grease, or soap residue. For best results, use a surface cleaner and allow it to dry completely.
- Measure and Cut: Measure the required length and carefully cut the tape using scissors or a utility knife.
- Apply Tape: Peel back a small section of the backing paper and align the tape with the edge of the surface. Slowly peel off the backing paper while pressing the tape firmly onto the surface, working from one end to the other to avoid air bubbles.
- Press Firmly: Once applied, press down firmly along the entire length of the tape, especially at the edges, to ensure a strong bond.
Compatibility:
This tape is generally compatible with ceramic tiles, porcelain, glass, laminate, and sealed wood surfaces. It is not recommended for use on porous, unsealed, or excessively textured surfaces without proper priming.
Care:
To maintain the seal, clean the tape regularly with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the tape's surface.
