Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Preparation: Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or debris. Measure and plan your layout before cutting.
- Cutting: Panels can be cut to size using standard woodworking tools such as a hand saw or a circular saw. Wear appropriate safety gear.
- Installation: Apply a suitable adhesive to the back of the panel or directly to the wall. For extra security, use panel pins or brad nails along the edges and at intervals. The tongue-and-groove system allows panels to slot together easily.
- Priming & Painting: Once installed, apply a quality primer to all surfaces, paying attention to edges and grooves. After the primer has dried, apply your chosen paint color. Multiple coats may be necessary for full coverage. Use a paint suitable for MDF.
Compatibility:
These panels are designed for interior use on standard drywall or plaster walls. They are compatible with most standard interior paint and primer systems.
Care:
Clean the panels with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the painted surface. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap diluted in water, followed by a rinse with a clean, damp cloth and then a dry cloth.
