FAQs

What materials is the dining table made from?

The dining table is constructed from high-quality MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard) with a durable melamine-laminated finish, providing a stunning stone-grey effect.

How many people can this dining set comfortably seat?

This set includes four dining chairs and one bench. The bench can typically accommodate 2-3 people, making the entire set suitable for 6-7 individuals, depending on average size and comfort preferences.

Is the assembly process complicated for this dining set?

No, the dining set is designed for hassle-free assembly. It comes with clear, step-by-step instructions to guide you through the process, allowing for quick setup.

How should I clean and maintain the grey velvet chairs and bench?

For routine cleaning, vacuum the velvet upholstery regularly using a soft brush attachment to remove dust. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth; avoid rubbing to prevent damage to the pile. For deeper cleaning, it's advisable to use a velvet-specific upholstery cleaner or consult a professional.

What are the exact dimensions of the dining table?

The dining table measures H75 x L117 x W77 CM (Height x Length x Width).

Do the chairs and bench have protection for my floors?

Yes, the chairs are fitted with rubber-capped legs to prevent floor scratches. The bench features sturdy metal legs with adjustable foot protection to prevent damage and help level on uneven surfaces.

Troubleshooting

The table, chair, or bench feels wobbly after assembly.

Ensure all bolts and screws are fully tightened. Sometimes, components settle after initial assembly; re-tighten all fasteners after a week of use. For the bench, adjust the individual foot protection to compensate for uneven flooring.

Missing hardware or parts during assembly.

Thoroughly check all packaging materials, including inside boxes and protective wraps, as small parts can sometimes be overlooked. If parts are genuinely missing, contact Kosy Koala customer support with your purchase information and the specific part numbers needed, as listed in the assembly manual.

Scratches appearing on the floor despite protective caps.

Verify that all rubber caps on the chair legs are securely in place and haven't worn down or fallen off. Ensure the adjustable foot protection on the bench is properly installed and adjusted. Always lift the furniture when moving it, rather than dragging, to prevent accidental damage to flooring.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions

Setup

Unpack Carefully: Lay out all components and hardware. Compare against the parts list in your manual to ensure everything is present. Keep small parts in a separate container to prevent loss.
Follow Instructions: Assemble the table first, then the chairs, and finally the bench. Adhere strictly to the provided step-by-step assembly guide for a hassle-free process. Do not overtighten screws until all components are loosely fitted, then tighten them securely.
Check Stability: Once assembled, gently test the stability of each piece. Ensure all connections are firm and the furniture does not wobble. Adjust the bench's foot protection as needed to level it on uneven surfaces.

Compatibility

Decor Style: This dining set is primarily designed to complement contemporary and modern interior designs with its sleek stone grey effect and velvet upholstery.
Room Size: Verify the table and seating dimensions (Table: H75 x L117 x W77 CM; Chair: H87 cm x L59 cm x W44 cm; Bench: L90cm x W36cm x H47cm) against your dining area to ensure a comfortable fit and adequate surrounding space for movement.

Care

Table Care: Wipe the stone grey effect MDF table surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the melamine laminate. Dry immediately with a clean, dry cloth.
Chair & Bench Upholstery Care: For the grey velvet, regular light vacuuming with an upholstery attachment is recommended to remove dust and debris. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth; do not rub. For deeper cleaning or stubborn stains, use a reputable velvet-safe upholstery cleaner or consult a professional.
Legs & Frame: Periodically check and tighten all screws and bolts on the table, chairs, and bench to maintain stability. Ensure the rubber caps on chair legs and the adjustable foot protection on the bench remain intact to prevent floor scratches. Lift furniture when moving it, rather than dragging.
