These clips are equivalent to VW OEM N90533301 and are specified for use in Skoda Fabia, Skoda Octavia, VW Passat, and VW Golf models with a 9.0mm hole size. It is always best to confirm your specific vehicle's requirements.
What material are the clips made from?
The clips are made from durable black nylon.
What are the dimensions of the clips?
The head diameter is 19.8mm, the length is 9.4mm, and they are designed to fit a 9.0mm hole size.
How many clips are included in this set?
This set includes 50 pieces.
Can I use these clips on cars other than VW or Skoda?
While they are designed for specific VW and Skoda models, they may fit other vehicles if the hole size (9.0mm) and clip design are compatible. Always verify measurements.
How should I remove these clips without damage?
It is recommended to use a plastic trim removal tool to gently pry the clip out. Avoid using metal tools which can scratch or damage the surrounding panel.
Are these clips reusable?
These clips are designed for single installation or replacement. While they may be carefully removed and reinserted, their grip strength can be compromised with multiple removals.
Troubleshooting
Clip does not fit into the hole.
Verify the hole size is precisely 9.0mm. Ensure there are no obstructions or damage to the hole edge. This clip may not be compatible with your specific vehicle if the hole size differs.
Clip feels loose after installation.
Ensure the clip is fully seated and the mating surface is intact. If the receiving hole or panel is damaged, the clip may not achieve a secure grip.
Clip broke during installation.
Apply firm but controlled pressure. If significant force is required, double-check compatibility or consider using a specialized trim tool for removal/installation to prevent breakage.
