Yes, it is generally machine washable on a gentle cycle, but always check the internal care label for specific temperature settings.
Yes, it features an adjustable hood complete with a storm peak for added protection.
The Portwell is a lightweight waterproof shell with a lining, making it ideal for layering over sweaters or fleeces in moderate weather.
Taped seams prevent water from leaking through the stitching holes, which are usually the weakest point of a waterproof garment.
Yes, there is an internal waist adjuster that allows you to define the fit of the jacket.
It is crafted from a high-quality cotton blend designed for durability and comfort.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating may have worn off. Apply a re-proofing spray recommended for cotton-blend waterproofs.
Clear any debris from the zip teeth and apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant if necessary.
Hang the coat on a sturdy hanger to allow creases to drop out naturally; avoid high-heat ironing.
To ensure the longevity of your raincoat, always follow the care label instructions provided inside the garment. Because of the waterproof finish, it is recommended to wash the coat on a gentle cycle using a technical detergent designed for waterproof apparel. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can strip the waterproofing treatment. Hang the coat to air dry away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can damage the seam taping. For storage, ensure the coat is completely dry before hanging it in a cool, well-ventilated space to prevent mildew.
