Full details
The Rackhams Neon Email Placemat Set is designed for design-conscious homeowners looking to elevate their dining table aesthetic with a modern, graphic flair. These placemats offer the primary benefit of combining high-end artistic prints with a durable, protective cork base, making them equally suitable for daily family meals and formal entertaining. However, users should be aware that the vibrant colors may appear slightly different in person depending on individual screen calibration, and they are intended for manual spot cleaning rather than immersion in water or dishwasher use.

FAQs
Can I put these in the dishwasher?
No. Submerging these placemats in water or placing them in a dishwasher will cause the cork to swell and the top layer to delaminate.
What is the material of the base?
The base is made of durable, non-slip natural cork wood, which protects your table from heat and scratches.
Are these mats heat-proof?
They are heat-resistant for standard dinner plates, but you should use a trivet for hot pots and pans straight from the oven or stove.
How many placemats are in the set?
Each set includes six matching placemats.
Will the colors look exactly like they do on my phone screen?
While the printing is high-quality, colors can vary slightly based on your specific screen settings and display brightness.
Troubleshooting
Placemat surface shows minor stains from food spills
Immediately wipe with a slightly damp cloth using mild soap if necessary, then pat dry with a paper towel.
Edges of the cork are starting to peel or fray
Avoid excess water exposure and ensure the placemats are not stored in high-humidity areas, as moisture can weaken the adhesive.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up your Rackhams placemats requires no special installation; simply place them on your table surface with the printed side facing up. Because they are 11 x 8 inches, ensure your table has adequate width to accommodate the mats alongside your centerpieces.
To keep your placemats in optimal condition, adhere to these care instructions:
- Cleaning: Use only a soft, damp cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the print.
- Storage: Store flat to prevent the cork from bending or cracking.
- Moisture Prevention: Never submerge the mats in water. If a spill occurs, wipe it up immediately to ensure the cork backing does not absorb liquid and swell.
- Heat Caution: Use heat-proof trivets for heavy, steaming cookware, as these mats are meant for table settings rather than direct contact with extremely hot stove pots.
