Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Kogei set remains in peak condition, proper care is essential. While the brushed steel is durable, harsh abrasives should be avoided during cleaning.
- Initial Cleaning: Wash all pieces in warm, soapy water using a soft cloth before first use.
- Hand Washing: While some stainless steel is dishwasher safe, hand washing is highly recommended to preserve the integrity of the brushed finish over time.
- Drying: Immediately dry each piece with a soft, lint-free cloth after washing to prevent water spots.
- Storage: Avoid tossing the pieces loosely in a drawer with other harder metal utensils; consider using a divided cutlery tray to protect the long, slim handles from potential dings or scratches.
