Designed for multi-generational households, the Benjamin Tate Design Checker Placemat and Coaster Set offers a stylish way to protect your furniture while fostering a sense of warmth during family gatherings. The set includes 12 pieces featuring a bold geometric pattern that adds visual interest to any dining space, though the specific 11-inch by 8-inch sizing is smaller than standard large-format placemats, which may not accommodate oversized dinner plates.

No. Due to the wood backing, these pieces must be hand-cleaned with a damp cloth to prevent damage.
The placemats measure 11 inches by 8 inches.
The set contains 12 pieces total, consisting of a mix of placemats and coasters.
The wood backing offers protection, but they are primarily designed as table linens and should not be used as high-heat trivets for heavy cookware.
The set is made with high-end printing technology designed for longevity, provided the surfaces are kept clean and not subjected to harsh abrasive chemicals.
Use a soft, damp cloth with a tiny drop of mild dish soap to wipe the surface, then dry immediately with a clean, lint-free cloth.
Ensure the bottom surface is completely dry and free of dust before placement, or add small adhesive silicone grips to the corners if the tabletop is exceptionally slippery.
Setting up the collection is straightforward: simply arrange the 11-inch by 8-inch mats symmetrically around your dining table, using the 3.7-inch by 3.7-inch coasters beside each setting. Compatibility is broad, as the design complements modern, transitional, and eclectic interior styles. To ensure longevity, use a damp cloth with mild soap for daily cleaning. Avoid submerging the pieces in water or placing them in a dishwasher, as the wood base may warp if saturated. Store the set stacked to maintain the flatness of the wood bottoms, ensuring they remain level for your next use.
