The GTV 5m LED Strip Tape in white is an ideal lighting solution for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts looking to enhance their indoor environments with subtle, consistent accent lighting. Designed for versatility, this tape provides bright illumination for spaces like kitchens, wardrobes, and display cabinets with high energy efficiency. While it offers a clean aesthetic and easy installation, users should note that for optimal longevity and heat dissipation, it is best utilized when paired with compatible aluminium profiles rather than being applied directly to porous or dusty surfaces.

Yes, it can be cut at the designated markers located every 5 cm along the tape.
This product is designed for general indoor use. Unless specified otherwise, it is not rated for high-humidity areas like bathrooms.
The kit typically includes the LED strip; a compatible power supply must be sourced separately based on your specific power requirements.
While it can be mounted directly to a surface, using an aluminium profile is highly recommended to improve heat dissipation and durability.
The total power consumption for the 5-metre strip is 21W.
Check all electrical connections for looseness and ensure your power supply voltage is compatible.
Ensure the surface was thoroughly cleaned with isopropyl alcohol; use mounting clips if the surface is too porous for the adhesive.
This may indicate a voltage drop; consider injecting power from both ends if the run is long.
To install, ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and free of grease to allow the adhesive to bond properly. Measure your required length, noting the 5 cm cutting markers indicated on the strip. For power, ensure you are using a compatible low-voltage power supply matching the strip's specifications. Avoid bending the tape at sharp 90-degree angles to prevent damage to the internal circuitry; instead, create gentle loops or use connector blocks if turning corners. To clean, gently wipe the surface of the strip or the profile with a dry or slightly damp lint-free cloth, ensuring the power is switched off before maintenance.
