Product Information

Full details

The Savage Gear Floating Fish Grip is an essential tool designed for anglers who prioritize fish safety and personal protection while handling their catch. Ideal for both shore and boat fishing, this compact 16.5cm tool offers a secure, non-invasive hold on fish, making it significantly easier to remove hooks without risking injury from sharp teeth, spines, or gill plates. While its lightweight design and buoyancy are major assets, users should note that its size is specifically optimized for medium to large fish, making it less suitable for extremely tiny species.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

The grip requires no assembly and is ready to use immediately. To maintain the mechanism, rinse the grip thoroughly with fresh water after every outing, especially if used in saltwater. Allow it to air dry fully before storing it in your tackle bag. Periodically check the spring-loaded mechanism for debris or salt buildup to ensure smooth operation. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to extend the longevity of the handle material.
