FAQs
Can this tent be used in winter?
Yes, the canvas material is designed for all-season use, and the dedicated stove vent allows for the safe installation of a wood-burning stove for heating.
How many people can realistically fit inside?
The tent is rated for 6 people, which comfortably accommodates sleeping mats or thin air mattresses.
Is the groundsheet removable?
The PVC groundsheet is generally integrated with the tent walls to ensure a waterproof seal against the elements.
Does the tent come with stakes and poles?
Yes, the tent includes all necessary poles and stakes required for a complete setup.
How do I prevent mold on the canvas?
The most important step is to always store the tent completely dry. Never pack it away while damp or muddy.
What is the height at the center of the tent?
The center height of the tent is 250 cm.
Troubleshooting
Water leaking through the seams during heavy rain
Apply a seam sealer product specifically designed for cotton canvas to reinforce the stitching areas.
Tent walls feel damp or saggy
Ensure all guy lines are properly tensioned and the center pole is fully extended; cotton canvas may naturally stretch slightly after initial use.
Stove vent soot accumulation
Use a damp cloth to wipe the vent flap regularly and ensure the chimney pipe is properly insulated with a fire-rated sleeve.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- High-capacity space for up to 6 people
- Excellent ventilation through 8 integrated windows
- Breathable, high-quality cotton canvas material
- Stove vent allows for year-round climate control
- Durable PVC groundsheet provides reliable moisture protection
Cons

- Cotton material requires thorough drying to prevent mold
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the tent involves staking the base perimeter first, followed by inserting the central support pole. It is recommended to have two people during assembly to ensure the canvas is stretched evenly.
Compatibility: The tent is compatible with most standard camping wood stoves equipped with appropriate chimney diameters. Always ensure the stove is placed on a heat-resistant pad to prevent damage to the PVC groundsheet.
Care Instructions: Cotton canvas is a natural fiber that can develop mildew if packed away damp. After use, ensure the tent is completely dry before storage. If the tent gets dirty, clean it with a soft brush and water; avoid harsh chemical detergents which can strip the fabric's natural water resistance.
