Bigjigs Toys Beach Toys - Silicone Bucket, Spade and Flyer

The bucket and flyer are made from food-grade silicone. The spade is made from strong plastic containing wheat fibre.

Yes, the silicone bucket is food-grade and can be washed on the top rack of a dishwasher. However, hand washing with mild soap and water is recommended for better longevity and appearance.

The wheat fibre spade is made from a blend of plastic and natural wheat straw. This makes it a more eco-friendly alternative to purely plastic toys and offers good durability for typical sand play.

Yes, the silicone flyer is waterproof and can be used in and around water, making it suitable for playing near the sea or in paddling pools.

The silicone bucket is designed to be squished and rolled flat, making it very compact and easy to pack into suitcases or beach bags without taking up much space.

This set is generally suitable for children aged 3 years and up, with adult supervision recommended for younger children during beach or park play.

Wipe the spade clean with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or leaving it submerged in water for extended periods.

Ensure the bucket is clean and dry before attempting to collapse it. Gentle pressure may be needed the first few times as the material adjusts.

The spade is designed to be strong yet flexible. For very hard-packed sand or aggressive digging, use with gentle force to avoid undue stress on the material.

This can sometimes occur with wheat fibre products. Wash thoroughly with soap and water and air dry in a well-ventilated area. The odor typically dissipates with use.

The flyer should be pliable. If it feels stiff, especially in cooler temperatures, let it warm up slightly in the sun or in your hands before folding.
