Full details
This Lorina Chifney Bit is designed for leading lively, unpredictable horses. The V-shaped mouthpiece will dig into the tongue should the horse try to pull or rear. It is made from highly polished stainless steel to prevent rusting and improve durability. This bit, like other severe bits, should be used by a skilled, light hand, and must only be applied for leading. The Lorina Chifney Bit is not to be used for riding but for leading difficult horses. A chifney bit is used to prevent a horse from rearing. The bit attaches to a headpiece and has a single ring to attach a lead rope. The V shape mouthpiece will apply strong pressure to your horse's tongue should they try to rear or pull.
