FAQs
What are the dimensions of the mat?
The Korum Neoprene Measure Mat is 1.2 meters in length.
Is this mat suitable for saltwater fishing?
While the neoprene is durable, it is primarily designed for freshwater use. Prolonged exposure to saltwater may affect the material and markings over time.
Do I need to use an unhooking mat with this measure mat?
Yes, it is recommended to use this measure mat in conjunction with a standard unhooking mat to ensure the best welfare for your catch.
How do I clean the measure mat?
Rinse the mat with clean water after each use and allow it to air dry completely. Avoid harsh chemicals.
How does it store?
The mat rolls up neatly and is secured with integrated elasticated loops for compact storage and transport.
Can I use this without an unhooking mat?
It is strongly advised to always use a dedicated unhooking mat for fish welfare. This measure mat is designed to supplement, not replace, an unhooking mat.
What is the warranty period?
Please refer to the retailer or Korum's official website for specific warranty information as it can vary.
Troubleshooting
Mat does not lie flat
Allow the mat to unroll fully and sit in the sun for a short period to relax the material. Ensure it's placed on a level surface.
Markings are fading
Ensure the mat is cleaned gently with fresh water only and allowed to air dry. Avoid abrasive cleaning methods or leaving it in prolonged direct sunlight which can degrade the markings.
Mat smells after use
Rinse thoroughly with fresh water and allow to air dry completely. Mild, fish-safe cleaner can be used if necessary, followed by a thorough rinse.
