Setting Up
- Winding: If the watch has stopped, manually wind it by turning the crown clockwise about 20-30 times. This will provide some initial power to the movement.
- Setting the Time and Date: Pull the crown out to the first position to set the date. Pull it out to the second position to set the time. Rotate the crown to adjust the date and time.
- Securing the Bracelet: Ensure the push-button deployment clasp is securely fastened.
Compatibility
The Rado Captain Cook is a self-contained mechanical watch and does not require compatibility with other devices.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch with a soft, damp cloth to remove any dirt or residue. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
- Water Exposure: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in and properly sealed before exposure to water.
- Servicing: Have the watch serviced by a qualified watchmaker every 3-5 years to maintain its accuracy and longevity.
- Storage: Store the watch in a safe place, away from extreme temperatures and magnetic fields when not in use.
