Yokohama S-Drive AS01 - AS01

No, the S-Drive AS01 is a summer tire and is not designed for cold temperatures, snow, or ice. Its performance is significantly compromised in these conditions. For winter driving, dedicated winter tires are recommended.

Check your vehicle's owner's manual or the sticker on the driver's side doorjamb for the recommended tire size. Ensure the size matches the tire specifications (e.g., 175/50 R16 77T).

The lifespan depends on driving habits, road conditions, and tire maintenance. However, the advanced tread design and durable compounds aim to provide good longevity for a high-performance tire when properly cared for.

In very mild climates where temperatures consistently stay above 45°F (7°C) and snow is not a factor, they can be used year-round. However, their optimal performance is during warmer months.

The silica-based compound, developed with nanotechnology, improves the tire's flexibility at varying temperatures, enhancing grip on both wet and dry surfaces and contributing to better fuel efficiency compared to traditional carbon black compounds.

The distinct arrangement of variable-angled grooves in the tread pattern provides larger contact areas with the road during cornering, increasing lateral grip and stability.

Ensure tire pressure is correct and check for any foreign objects or wear on the tread grooves that might impede water drainage. Verify the tire is not significantly worn.

Check wheel alignment and tire pressure. Uneven wear can be caused by improper alignment, under/over-inflation, or lack of tire rotation. Consult a professional for alignment checks.

Ensure tires are properly balanced. Uneven wear can also contribute to noise. If the issue persists, check the tire tread for damage or abnormal wear patterns.
