FAQs

Is this surround compatible with all dartboards?

Yes, it is designed to fit all standard-sized sisal dartboards.

Does the surround require wall fixings?

No, it is a friction-fit product that stays on the board without the need for additional screws or hardware.

Will this protect my wall from every dart?

It provides a wide area of coverage, though it is intended to protect the immediate perimeter of the dartboard from stray throws.

Can I use it outdoors?

It is recommended for indoor use only to protect the material from weather-related degradation.

How do I clean the white surface?

Use a dry cloth for regular maintenance. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth and mild soap, ensuring you wipe it dry afterwards.

Troubleshooting

The surround feels loose or wobbly

Ensure the dartboard is mounted flush to the wall and the surround is pressed deep enough to engage with the outer edge of the board.

Surface marks are visible

Gently clean the affected area with a soft, dry cloth; for tougher scuffs, use a damp cloth with mild soap and dry immediately.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Protects walls from holes and scuffs
Easy to install without extra hardware
Fits all standard professional dartboards
Durable foam material resists heavy wear
Provides a sleek, professional tournament appearance

Cons

White material can show dirt or scuffs over time
Requires precise alignment for a seamless fit
Takes up more wall space than a standard board

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To install, ensure your dartboard is properly mounted to the wall first. Align the surround segments or the one-piece ring and firmly press it onto the circumference of your board. The surround is compatible with all standard professional dartboards. For maintenance, keep the white surface clean by gently wiping it with a dry microfiber cloth. If a mark is persistent, use a lightly dampened cloth with mild soap, but avoid harsh chemicals that might degrade the foam structure. Keep the surround away from direct heat sources to prevent the material from drying out or warping.
