The Deflow Daily Surfboard Bag (7'6") is designed for intermediate to advanced surfers who require reliable, everyday protection for their equipment during transport to and from the break. Its primary benefit is the combination of 10mm foam padding and a durable, travel-ready exterior, ensuring your board remains dent-free during short trips. A notable caveat is that while it is robust enough for daily use and car transit, it is not a dedicated heavy-duty flight bag, so it may lack the reinforced nose protection required for international airline baggage handling.

This model is specifically 7'6". It is designed for shortboards, hybrids, and small mid-lengths. It will not fit a standard longboard.
While it offers excellent daily protection, it is not a heavy-duty 'coffin' style bag. Use extra bubble wrap or pipe insulation around the rails and nose if you choose to take it on a plane.
Turn the bag inside out or open it fully and vacuum out any sand. Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry completely in the shade.
The YKK zippers are high-quality and durable, but they are not strictly 'waterproof.' They will withstand standard splashes but should not be submerged.
The exterior fabric is chosen for durability and tear resistance. While it helps keep the board shaded, it is not a reflective heat-shield material.
Rinse the zipper track thoroughly with fresh water to remove sand or dried salt crystals. Once dry, apply a specialized silicone-based zipper lubricant.
Ensure the board is centered within the tail section. If the bag is still too tight, remove the fins and store them in a separate hardware pouch to avoid pressure points on the board's tail.
To maximize the life of your bag, always rinse the exterior with fresh water after sessions, especially if you have been surfing in high-salt environments; this prevents the YKK zippers from corroding or seizing over time. When loading, slide the board in nose-first, ensuring the widest point of the board aligns with the bag's profile before zipping. While the bag is water-resistant, it is not waterproof; avoid leaving the board inside the bag for extended periods in direct, hot sunlight, as the heat build-up inside the padded material can potentially affect the board's epoxy or polyester resin.
