Troubleshooting

Window is difficult to open or close

Ensure the top control bar is fully disengaged before attempting to pivot the window. Check for any obstructions around the frame or sash. If the issue persists, professional inspection may be required.

Drafts or air leaks detected

Verify that the window is fully closed and latched. Inspect the window seals for damage or wear and replace if necessary. Ensure the flashing around the window is properly installed and sealed.

Water ingress around the window

Check the integrity of the roof flashing and sealant around the exterior of the window. Ensure the window itself is not damaged. Professional assessment and repair of flashing or sealing may be needed.

Condensation on the glass

Condensation can occur due to high indoor humidity. Ensure adequate ventilation in the room, possibly by using the window's ventilation mode or other air circulation methods. Check that the window is properly sealed.
