Bondloc B270-10 Threadlocker - Green - 10ml

Permanent means that once cured, the threadlocker provides a strong, vibration-resistant bond that typically requires heat to disassemble. It is not designed for applications that require frequent removal.

The Bondloc B270-10 is effective for locking studs and threaded assemblies up to 1 inch (approximately M24) in diameter.

Without an activator, it achieves fixture in approximately 10 minutes. With an activator, fixture time can be reduced to about 5 minutes. Full cure for maximum strength takes up to 12 hours.

The product has a minimum shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored under recommended conditions (cool, dry, sealed).

This product is designed for metal threaded assemblies. Compatibility with plastics should be tested, as some plastics may be affected by the adhesive or its curing process.

The cured adhesive can withstand operating temperatures ranging from -55°C to 180°C.

To disassemble a permanently locked assembly, local heating to approximately 150-200°C is typically required to soften the adhesive, followed by the use of wrenches.

Ensure surfaces are clean and dry. Use an activator if operating at low temperatures (<10°C) or if using on inactive metals (e.g., stainless steel, plated surfaces). Check product expiry date.

Ensure the nozzle is not blocked. If blocked, carefully clear with a pin or wire. If the product has expired or is significantly aged, it may have cured in the container.

Verify that the product was applied correctly to both mating threads and that sufficient adhesive was used for the thread size and gap. Ensure the parts were assembled within the recommended fixture time and allowed to cure fully.

This is expected for a permanent threadlocker. For disassembly, heat the assembly to approximately 150-200°C to soften the adhesive, then use standard tools.
