The Ticktype EVO75 is a premium 75% mechanical keyboard designed for professionals, developers, and keyboard enthusiasts who prioritize build quality and customization. Its standout benefit is the combination of an industrial-grade anodized aluminum case with a leaf spring mount that offers a uniquely responsive, bouncy typing experience. While the keyboard provides immense versatility through its hot-swappable PCB and extensive software support, newcomers to custom mechanical keyboards may find the initial VIA/QMK configuration software a steeper learning curve than standard plug-and-play boards.

Yes, the EVO75 is fully compatible with macOS, and you can map specific Mac multimedia keys using the VIA software.
The hot-swap PCB supports standard 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style mechanical switches.
Typically, the RGB backlighting will pulse a specific color or indicator when the battery level is critically low.
The anodized finish is durable, but it can still be scratched by sharp metal objects; handle with reasonable care.
These switches come pre-lubed from the factory, which eliminates scratchiness and provides a smooth, muted sound profile.
Ensure the keyboard is in Wired mode and that you have loaded the specific JSON file provided by the manufacturer into VIA.
Ensure the 2.4GHz dongle is plugged into a USB port away from other high-frequency transmitters, or charge the battery fully.
Remove the switch using the puller and check if the metal pins on the bottom of the switch are bent; realign and re-insert firmly.
To begin using the EVO75, ensure the toggle switch on the bottom of the case is set to the correct mode (Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, or Wired). For wired use, connect the provided USB-C cable to your computer; the keyboard will charge automatically. To customize your keymaps, download the VIA application and load the keyboard's JSON file to recognize the device layout.
Compatibility: Works natively with Windows, macOS, and Linux without needing custom drivers for basic functionality.
Care: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the aluminum finish. For deep cleaning, remove keycaps and switches using the included pullers, and use compressed air to clear debris from the PCB. Do not use harsh liquid cleaners on the anodized finish.
