The KeySmart MagConnect Pro is designed for individuals looking to streamline their everyday carry by securely attaching accessories like car fobs, torches, or USB drives to a keyring or organiser. It offers the key benefit of a locking magnetic dovetail system that holds up to 9 kg, ensuring your essentials stay attached during daily activity. A minor caveat is that while the connection is incredibly strong, users should ensure the mechanical lock is fully engaged to prevent accidental separation in extreme conditions.

The MagConnect Pro is safe for use with standard key fobs; however, keep it away from sensitive magnetic storage media like legacy credit card strips.
It is rated to support up to 9 kg of weight.
Yes, it is designed to be fully compatible with the KeySmart ecosystem and traditional keyrings.
While it holds 9 kg, it is specifically designed for small everyday carry items like keys and tools, not heavy loads like water bottles.
It uses a durable dovetail design to ensure a mechanical lock alongside the magnetic attraction.
Ensure there is no debris or lint inside the dovetail groove preventing the magnets from making full contact.
Verify that the mechanical locking mechanism is fully engaged and not obstructed by other keyring items.
To set up your MagConnect Pro, simply attach the male end to your accessory using the provided attachment loop and secure the female end to your main keyring or KeySmart organiser. The device is compatible with most standard keyrings and all KeySmart organisation systems. To maintain the mechanism, occasionally wipe the contact points with a dry cloth to remove lint or dust that could interfere with the magnetic seating. Avoid exposing the magnets to extreme heat or high-intensity magnetic fields that could potentially degrade the magnetic strength over time.
