Setup, Compatibility & Care
To achieve the best results with your Canon MP-101D paper, follow these best practices:
- Printer Settings: Always select 'Matte Paper' or 'Heavyweight Paper' in your print driver dialog to ensure the printer head height and ink volume are calibrated correctly for the 240 g/m² weight.
- Paper Loading: Use the rear tray for feeding to minimize bending, especially if your printer has a tight feed path.
- Handling: Avoid touching the surface of the paper before or after printing to prevent fingerprint oils from affecting the matte coating.
- Storage: Keep unused sheets in their original packaging, stored flat in a cool, dry environment. High humidity can cause the paper to warp and affect feed performance.
