Vitax Citrus Feed Summer is designed for amateur and professional gardeners who grow citrus plants like lemons, limes, and kumquats in containers. The primary benefit of this formula is its high nitrogen content, which encourages lush, green foliage and heavy fruit yields during the active growing season. A notable caveat is that this feed is specifically intended for use from April to September; it is not suitable for winter maintenance when the plant is in dormancy.

No, this formula is specifically designed for the active growing season from April to September.
It is recommended to apply the feed once weekly during the summer months.
Yes, provided the tree is in its active growing phase and receiving sufficient light.
No, it is a nutrient supplement to be added to your regular watering routine.
It is ideal for lemons, limes, kumquats, and other common container-grown citrus varieties.
Check the soil pH; citrus plants prefer slightly acidic soil. If the pH is too high, the plant cannot absorb the nutrients provided.
This is often due to moisture exposure. Ensure the storage area is completely dry and reseal the bag immediately after use.
To prepare the feed, dilute the recommended amount of product into a watering can filled with clean water. Ensure the soil in the container is already slightly moist before application to prevent fertilizer burn on the roots. Always store the remaining 200g of powder in a cool, dry place and ensure the container is tightly sealed to maintain potency. This product is strictly for citrus varieties and should not be used on acid-hating or ornamental plants that require different NPK ratios.
