Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Euro Hikers, begin by applying a protective leather conditioner or spray suited for full-grain leather before your first excursion. When lacing up, utilize the speed hooks to achieve a snug but comfortable fit across the ankle for optimal support. Cleaning should be done by wiping away loose dirt with a soft brush after use; if the leather gets wet, allow the boots to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, which can cause the leather to crack. Inspect the rubber lugs occasionally to clear out pebbles or debris that could affect traction. The boots are compatible with standard aftermarket insoles if you require specialized orthotic support.
