FAQs

Is a shower hose included with the Hansgrohe Croma 100?

No, the shower hose is not included with the Hansgrohe Croma 100 Handheld Shower Head and must be purchased separately.

How do I switch between the different spray settings?

You can switch between the four spray settings (Rain, Shampoo, Normal, Massage) by simply twisting the spray disc on the face of the shower head.

What is EcoSmart technology?

EcoSmart technology limits the water flow to 9 liters per minute at 3 bar pressure, helping you save water and energy without compromising shower comfort.

How do I clean the limescale from the nozzles?

The Croma 100 features QuickClean silicone nozzles. Simply rub these flexible nozzles with your finger or a cloth to easily remove any limescale build-up.

What is the flow rate of this shower head?

The flow rate is limited to 9 liters per minute at 3 bar pressure, thanks to the EcoSmart technology.

What type of connection does this shower head have?

The shower head has standard G1/2" connection threads, making it compatible with most standard shower hoses.

Can this shower head be used with an electric or continuous flow water heater?

Yes, the Hansgrohe Croma 100 Handheld Shower Head is suitable for use with continuous flow water heaters.

Troubleshooting

Low water pressure or flow rate.

Check for blockages in the shower head nozzles or the shower hose. Ensure the rinseable dirt filter is clean. Verify that the flow rate is not restricted by your home's water pressure or plumbing. Ensure the spray setting is not on a low-flow mode if multiple are available.

Water leaks from the connection point.

Ensure the G1/2" connection between the shower hose and the handset is securely tightened. Check the rubber washer inside the hose connection for damage and replace if necessary.

Difficulty switching spray patterns.

Gently rotate the spray disc. If it feels stiff, check for any debris lodged in the mechanism. Ensure the unit is clean as per care instructions.

Limescale build-up affecting spray pattern.

Regularly use the QuickClean function by rubbing the silicone nozzles. For persistent limescale, soak the shower head (or at least the nozzles) in a mild vinegar solution for a short period, then rinse thoroughly.

  • Durable and stylish chrome finish.

Cons

  • Shower hose is sold separately.

  • Primarily designed for wall placement, not for ceiling mounting.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

  1. Ensure you have a compatible shower hose (not included) with G1/2" connection threads.
  2. Screw the shower hose firmly onto the G1/2" connection thread of the Hansgrohe Croma 100 handset.
  3. Connect the other end of the shower hose to your existing shower valve or mixer.
  4. Turn on the water supply and check for any leaks at the connection points.

Compatibility:

  • Compatible with standard G1/2" shower hoses.
  • Suitable for use with continuous flow water heaters.
  • Designed for wall-mounted shower systems.

Care:

  • Limescale Removal: Gently rub the QuickClean silicone nozzles to remove any limescale deposits. For stubborn build-up, a mild vinegar solution can be used, followed by rinsing with clean water.
  • Cleaning: Wipe the chrome finish with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could scratch the surface.
