Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Measure and Cut: Accurately measure the required length for your countertop. Use a fine-tooth saw for clean cuts.
- Prepare Surface: Ensure the wall and countertop edge are clean, dry, and free from debris.
- Apply Adhesive: Apply a suitable laminate adhesive or silicone sealant along the back edge of the upstand and the corresponding edge of the countertop and wall.
- Position and Secure: Press the upstand firmly into place. Use masking tape to hold it securely while the adhesive cures, if necessary.
Compatibility:
This upstand is designed to be installed directly onto most standard kitchen countertops and walls. It is compatible with laminate, solid surface, and quartz countertops. Ensure compatibility with your specific wall material (e.g., plasterboard, tile) and use appropriate fixings if needed beyond adhesive.
Care:
- Clean spills immediately with a damp cloth.
- For tougher stains, use a mild detergent and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they can damage the surface.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents.
- Wipe dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
