Once the powder has settled and the treated area is aired out, it is considered safe. However, keep children away from the immediate application area during treatment and until the powder has settled.
Can I use this powder on my pet's bedding?
Yes, you can apply it to pet resting areas for flea control. Ensure pets are removed during application, and the area is thoroughly aired out before they return.
What types of insects does this product kill?
It targets a wide range of crawling and flying insects, including fleas, bed bugs, ants, cockroaches, spiders, and more.
How should I store the Insect Killing Powder?
Store the product in its original packaging in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Can I use this indoors and outdoors?
Yes, the Lodi Insecto Pro-Formula Insect Killer is suitable for use in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Troubleshooting
Insects are still present after application.
Ensure the powder was applied directly to insect pathways and hiding spots. Reapply a fine layer if the original application was too light or has been disturbed. Check if the area is excessively damp, which may require reapplication once dry.
Powder application is uneven or messy.
Hold the shaker pack closer to the surface and apply with a gentle shaking motion. Avoid over-applying; a fine dusting is usually sufficient. Clean up any excess powder immediately.
Product effectiveness seems reduced over time.
Insecticides can become less effective if exposed to moisture or UV light. Ensure the product is stored correctly in a dry, cool place. Reapply if outdoor applications have been washed away by rain.
