The Stag STA189 Pozidrive screwdriver is an essential hand tool designed for professional contractors and DIY enthusiasts who require reliable performance for medium-to-heavy duty fastening tasks. Its primary benefit is the combination of a high-torque PZ3 tip and an ergonomic handle that minimizes fatigue during repetitive work, though users should note that the 200mm shaft length may feel cumbersome in exceptionally confined spaces.

No, this screwdriver is specifically designed for Pozidrive (PZ3) heads. Using it on Phillips screws may damage the screw head.
The soft-grip handle is durable for standard shop environments, but it should be wiped down if exposed to harsh solvents.
The shaft is 200mm long; the total tool length includes the handle dimension.
This model features a standard precision-machined steel tip without magnetic properties.
Use a dry cloth after use. If it becomes dirty, a light degreaser followed by a dry wipe is recommended.
Ensure you are using a genuine Pozidrive (PZ3) screw, not a standard Phillips screw.
Apply more downward pressure while rotating to keep the tip fully seated in the fastener head.
Clean the ergonomic handle with mild soap and water to remove oils or grease buildup.
There is no complex setup required for this hand tool. To ensure compatibility, verify that your fasteners are marked with the 'PZ' symbol. Avoid using this screwdriver on Phillips heads, as the tip profiles differ significantly and will cause damage to both the screw and the tool. To care for your Stag screwdriver, store it in a clean, dry toolbox to prevent oxidation. Wipe the steel shaft with a light machine oil occasionally if working in humid conditions. Ensure the tip is kept free of debris to maintain an optimal seating depth within screw heads.
