This 3-meter black Kenable Locking C13 Mains Power Cable is designed for users who need to prevent accidental disconnections of critical equipment. Its key benefit is the secure locking IEC C13 connector, ensuring a stable power supply. A potential caveat is that it's specifically for C13 connections, which, while common for PCs and monitors, may not fit all devices. This cable features a UK plug, a 3-meter length, and a locking C13 connector with a release catch, a 5A fuse, and a 13A rating.

A locking C13 connector has a small release catch that must be pressed to detach the cable from the device. This prevents accidental unplugging, ensuring an uninterrupted power supply.
The C13 connector is commonly found on desktop computer power supplies, monitors, printers, and some other office electronics. It is often referred to as a 'kettle plug' style connector.
Yes, this cable is fully interchangeable with standard UK to C14 cables and will fit and lock into any IEC C14 socket. The locking feature is an enhancement, not a restriction.
The cable is rated for 13A, making it suitable for most standard electronic equipment. It also includes a 5A fuse for initial protection.
To disconnect, locate the release catch on the C13 connector, press it firmly, and then gently pull the connector away from the device's power port.
Yes, the cable is fitted with a standard 5A fuse, which is replaceable if it blows. The plug can be opened to access and replace the fuse.
Ensure the UK plug is securely inserted into a working power outlet. Check that the IEC C13 connector is fully seated in the device's power port. Verify the device's power switch is on.
Confirm the IEC C13 connector has clicked into place. If the locking mechanism is not engaging, inspect the connector and port for debris or damage.
The connected device may be drawing more power than the 5A fuse can support. Check the device's power requirements and ensure it is within the cable's 13A rating. If the device is rated for less than 5A, there might be an issue with the device itself.
