Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Thrink cutting mat, place it on a flat, clean, and rigid surface before use. Avoid exposing the mat to direct, prolonged sunlight or high heat sources, as extreme temperatures can affect the self-healing properties of the material. For cleaning, use a soft cloth with mild soap and water; avoid using harsh solvents or alcohol, as these may degrade the surface coating. When not in use, store the mat flat. Avoid folding or rolling the mat, as doing so may create permanent creases that interfere with the precision of your cuts. If you notice minor debris in the cuts, a light brushing with a soft-bristle brush can help keep the grid visible and the surface smooth.
