Full details
The Secure C1727 is a 2-channel smart programmer designed to control heat pumps, combi, and system boilers. It offers Bluetooth and app connectivity out of the box, with an optional plug-in Wi-Fi adapter for comprehensive smart control. The C1727 is engineered to replace the Horstmann CentaurPlus and ServicePlus ranges, utilizing the same wall plate with minimal wiring adjustments for enhanced connectivity. This thermostat efficiently manages single or double heating zones, or heating and stored hot water systems. It can also control the schedule of an existing wired thermostat or integrate additional sensors for expanded zone control. No hub or gateway is required for remote access; simply insert the Wi-Fi card and connect via the app using your password. The C1727 incorporates advanced Boiler Plus energy-saving features, including optimum start and stop per heating zone, and on-off load compensation. These features optimize boiler efficiency by preventing short-cycling and temperature overshoot, leading to energy savings and improved performance. It's an easy replacement for the CentaurPlus, ServicePlus, and Thermoplus ranges, using a standard 6-pin backplate for straightforward retrofitting of C17 and C27 models. The device supports control of combi or system boilers and heat pumps for up to 2 zones, managing both central heating and hot water. Programming can be done via the Secure Controls Bluetooth installer app or the wireless display, even without a Wi-Fi connection. Smart control is achievable with the separately sold Wi-Fi adaptor. The product comes with a 7-year warranty.
