Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin, ensure your Cricut machine is set to 'Iron-On' mode in the software. Always mirror your image before sending the project to the machine, as you are cutting the back of the material. For long-term care, wait at least 24 hours after application before washing the garment. Turn the clothing inside out during the wash cycle and use mild detergent. Avoid using bleach, and tumble dry on a low setting or hang dry to preserve the longevity of the transfer. If you use a standard household iron, ensure the steam function is turned off, as moisture can interfere with the heat-activated adhesive.
