Yes, the padded construction makes it a safer option for rooms where children play, reducing the risk of stubbed toes.
Ensure the door is opening fully against the stop and that the floor surface is not excessively sloped or carpeted. The door's weight may also be a factor; this stop is best for light to medium interior doors.
Gently brush the faux fur with a soft-bristled brush to restore its appearance.
Wipe gently with a slightly damp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a mild soap solution and wipe clean with a damp cloth, then dry thoroughly.
Setup: Simply place the Hestia Hedgehog Door Stop on the floor behind the door you wish to keep open. Ensure the door is opening towards the stop.
Compatibility: Compatible with most standard interior doors. It performs best on flat, solid surfaces like wood or tile floors. Avoid using on thick shag carpets where it might sink and lose effectiveness.
Care: To clean, wipe the faux leather surface with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the distressed finish and faux fur. For the faux fur spines, a gentle brush can help maintain their appearance.
