Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure your existing toilet bowl is clean and dry.
- Align the hinge posts of the new seat with the mounting holes on the toilet bowl.
- Insert the bolts through the holes and secure them from underneath according to the manufacturer's instructions (typically with nuts and washers).
- Adjust the seat position as needed before fully tightening the bolts.
- Test the soft-close and quick-release mechanisms.
Compatibility:
This toilet seat is designed to fit most standard two-piece and some one-piece toilets with traditional bolt hole spacing. It is recommended to measure the distance between your existing bolt holes and compare it with the hinge spread if you are unsure. The hinge finish is brushed nickel.
Care Instructions:
- Clean the seat regularly using a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the gloss finish and the hinge material.
- For stubborn marks, use a non-abrasive bathroom cleaner diluted with water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
- Do not use bleach or toilet bowl cleaners that may come into contact with the seat surface, as they can cause discoloration or damage.
