Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Purdy brush, it is essential to prepare it before the first use by 'spinning' or brushing it against your hand to remove any loose filaments. For cleanup, because the brush contains Chinex, ensure you rinse it thoroughly with warm water and mild soap immediately after use to prevent paint buildup at the base of the ferrule. Avoid leaving the brush soaking in water for extended periods, as this can distort the shape of the filaments. Store the brush in its original keeper cover to maintain the shape of the bristles while the brush is not in use.
