Full details
High visibility yellow secondary coupling cable. 3mm diameter cable with bright yellow sheath. Total diameter 4.5mm. High quality, OEM standard. This cable is a legal requirement on all trailers and is designed to pull the brake on the trailer and then snap in the event of the trailer coming detached from the vehicle. The thicker 3mm diameter is harder to break when moving the trailer than a standard 2mm cable but will still snap when it has to. It is recommended to carry a spare as if you break one your trailer/caravan should not be on the road until it is replaced. Features a ring end to attach to the trailer and a hook to attach to the car. Suitable for all braked road trailers up to 3.5T. Available for unbraked trailers separately. 1m long, suitable for most applications.
