Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Connect your SDI video source to the SDI input and your audio source (mixers, analog decks) to the balanced analog or AES/EBU 1/4-inch inputs. Connect the converter to a power source using the included 12V external power adapter. Finally, connect the SDI output to your destination device (router, monitor, recorder) using an SDI cable. Ensure all connections are secure.
Compatibility: This converter is compatible with SD and HD SDI formats up to 1080p60. It supports RGB and YUV color spaces, with 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. It operates with Windows (10 and later) and Mac OS X (10.15 Catalina, 11.0 Big Sur) operating systems for potential configuration, although its primary function is hardware-based conversion. It is designed to work with standard SDI devices such as cameras, VCRs, monitors, converters, and splitters.
Care: Keep the converter in a clean, dry environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures (0-40°C operating). Avoid exposing it to liquids. Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure ventilation slots are not blocked to prevent overheating. Do not attempt to open the unit for repairs; refer to qualified service personnel.
