Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These magnets are typically used by embedding them into materials, using strong adhesives (like epoxy), or incorporating them into designed slots or housings. Ensure that the surfaces where the magnets will be attached are clean, dry, and free of debris for optimal adhesion.
Compatibility: The magnets are compatible with most non-ferrous materials. When used with ferromagnetic materials, ensure the application accounts for the strong pull force to avoid unintended attraction or damage. They are generally compatible with electronic devices, but care should be taken to maintain a safe distance to avoid interference with sensitive components.
Care: Handle with care to avoid pinching fingers or attracting unintended metal objects. Store magnets separately or with a keeper (a piece of steel that bridges the poles) to prevent demagnetization and accidental attraction. Keep away from heat sources, as high temperatures can weaken their magnetic strength. Clean the magnet surfaces with a dry or slightly damp cloth; avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the coating. Due to their brittleness, avoid dropping them or allowing them to impact forcefully against hard surfaces or other magnets.
