Yes, the hardware plating is crafted with real gold for a luxurious finish.
It should be hand-washed in cool water with mild detergent and laid flat to dry.
The interior is lined with soft tulle to improve comfort, though it is designed primarily as a decorative, high-fashion piece.
The garment is made from Leavers lace and Italian PVC strapping, supported by a zinc-based hardware structure.
Gently wipe the PVC with a soft, slightly damp lint-free cloth and buff immediately with a dry cloth.
Store the basque flat or hung carefully in a garment bag, ensuring the PVC straps are not pressed against the lace for extended periods.
To ensure the longevity of the ALYSS Basque, always handle the PVC strapping with clean hands to prevent residue buildup that could dull the gloss. Due to the presence of real gold plating and delicate lace, this garment must be washed by hand in cool water using a mild, lingerie-specific detergent. Avoid soaking for long periods, and never wring or twist the fabric, as this can damage the structural integrity of the PVC. Lay the piece flat on a towel in a shaded area to air dry, keeping it away from direct heat sources that might warp the PVC.
